Granulators/Shredders

We currently have the following granulators or shredders in stock.

Durl GP 12/9 Granulator

• Throat opening : 300mm x 225mm
• Two-bladed rotor - blades inclined to produce scissors action
• Heavy duty outboard bearings
• Casing is made of SG Iron, split into two halves, hinged and dowelled for precise location
• Rotor is driven directly by a four pole 15Kw AC motor via a flywheel for inertia and a coupling
• Feed hopper is fabricated of steel - can be made to suit particular product, including bottles
• Feed hopper can be fitted with an air plunger system to handle bottles and light objects
• The discharge hopper is circular with a rib for bag attachment, or a screw conveyor, belt conveyor, vibrator feeder or air transport system can be used.
• The granulator can be equipped for simultaneously washing and granulating (SA Pat. APPLN 2003/5636) which obviates the necessity for a separate washing plant.
• Screen size to suit the application and size of granule required.
